A kite diamond is a four-sided stone with the outline of a kite, wider at one end and tapering to a point at the other. Its clean geometry makes it popular for modern rings, as an eye-catching center stone or as an accent in cluster and halo designs.

A shield diamond has a broad, flat top that tapers down to a point, like a heraldic shield. It works beautifully as a bold center stone or as a side stone that frames a larger diamond, and it gives a strong, architectural look.

Most are, yes. The majority are faceted rose cut stones with flat backs, which give a soft, vintage glow. The collection also includes a few raw and laser-cut pieces, so check each product page for the exact cut.

Yes. These are genuine natural, earth mined diamonds, including natural salt and pepper stones. Many colors are completely natural, and where a color has been enhanced we state it clearly on the product page.

Salt and pepper diamonds are natural stones with visible black and white inclusions that give a speckled, one-of-a-kind look. In fancy shapes like shield and kite, they make striking, unconventional rings at a very friendly price.

Because these stones have flat backs, they sit neatly in a setting. A bezel is the safest choice, especially for pointed kites and shields where you want to protect the tips, and prong settings work too. They are ideal for rings, pendants and earrings.

Loose stones generally run from around 2mm up to 10mm and larger, priced by carat weight, and the laser-cut pendants reach around 23mm. Colors include white, grey, yellow, red, peach, green, brown and black, and since these are natural stones, each has its own character.
